We bought this chair when we moved into our home in August of 2019. At the time, we didn’t know what power it had to compel every dad that walked into the house the need to sit there. We just knew it matched the couch. Every dad that has walked into our house decides that this chair is where they want to sit. I sit there more than my wife. When my parents visit, my dad spend most of their trip in this chair. My wife’s father also decides that this is his spot. As a good host, I do let the guest choose where they will sit. 9 times out of 10 someone’s dad ends up sitting there. 9 out of 10 for the chance that there are more than two father’s in the house.

The chair itself, isn’t anything special. It is comfortable, it rocks back and forth, and it swivels. The pattern isn’t overly masculine. But, this is the Dad Chair.
